Mosaic Monday at Lebanon Plantation, Georgia.

Joining Mary and other creative Mosaic makers for Mosaic Monday @ thelittleredhouse with these mosaics of images captured inside the Garden House of the Lebanon Plantation.
I had the pleasure of touring the plantation last October with other members of the Quimper Club during our annual meeting in Savannah, GA.

  2. Maggie, Lebanon Plantation may have been my favorite part of the meeting. It was indeed a very special experience for me. The home and grounds were wonderful, and the gardener's cottage was totally charming. Thanks again for all your efforts arranging the fabulous meeting in Savannah. ~ sarah

  3. How much fun! Y'all have a Quimper club? I wish I could join, although I do not collect it. Your mosaic is neat, and I love Savannah!

  4. It must be a beautiful place. I loved visiting Georgia years ago. My aunt lives there still - so perhaps one of these days I'll see this plantation.

  7. Beautiful mosaic, as always! Looks like a gorgeous place. My stepson lives in Augusta right now (military) so he knows it won't be a permanent location for him. He met his wife there and has really enjoyed his time there.
    Have a great week.

  13. Oh my...you're a member of the Quimper Club! Thanks for visiting my blog and the answer to your question about my plates is no...they are not Quimper. They are a good knock-off though. The set was a gift from my family a few years ago. I have tried many times to purchase Quimper on eBay and have never been able to bid high enough. What a fantastic thing to collect!

  18. How did you get to visit Lebanon Plantation? My husband's ancestor, Charles Courtney Thorpe, died there in 1901. I would love know more about the plantation's history or history of the Thorpe family.
